There is more to Sex and Fries that meets the eye

The weirder you're going to behave, the more normal you should look. It works in reverse, too. When I see a kid with three or four rings in his nose, I know there is absolutely nothing extraordinary about that person. ~P.J. O'Rourke

One of the reviews we received for the blog, was "First impression = This must be one of the porn movie service. But after reading it, I was totally wrong..I love reading your blog and I will be sure to come back."

What made me stop and think a bit was the "First impression". To me our site looks nothing like any porn movie service..I have seen those and this ain't it!
I know the name has the word "Sex" in it, and in some cases I think just that word brings about a corrupt perception on things.

First impressions are as defined as
1. An effect, feeling, or image retained as a consequence of experience.
2. A vague notion, remembrance, or belief: I have the impression that we have met once before.
3. A mark produced on a surface by pressure.
4. The act or process of impressing.

It might be safe to say that your own first impression of something is based on your history and your individual thoughts and what you have been influenced by. First impressions should be counted but not counted on, I think there is much to learn about everything and never to prejudge or even allow your first impression to guide you. It opens up your mind and allows for better relationships to have a second impression and more.

The impression of Sex'n'Fries that we want to give, is light hearted, thought provoking and fun. We also have our own thoughts about the site. The sex and the fries resemble everything in life: experiences, humor, fun, bad and good habits, trials and more. Food and sex are a huge part of life, we like to think that you should never judge either too quickly.

Sex (According the big dic) tionary:
n.
1. a. The property or quality by which organisms are classified as female or male on the basis of their reproductive organs and functions.
b. Either of the two divisions, designated female and male, of this classification.
2. Females or males considered as a group.
3. The condition or character of being female or male; the physiological, functional, and psychological differences that distinguish the female and the male. See Usage Note at gender.
4. The sexual urge or instinct as it manifests itself in behavior.
5. Sexual intercourse.
6. The genitals.
tr.v. sexed, sex·ing, sex·es
1. To determine the sex of (an organism).
2. Slang
a. To arouse sexually. Often used with up.
b. To increase the appeal or attractiveness of. Often used with up.

So really it means more that just "getting it on" and allows us to converse on many topics, since the whole world is made up of male and females.

Let's face it, sex is everywhere, online, TV, radio, whether it is to sell something, describe something, we are surrounded by it continually. How we perceive sexual attitudes and images is really up to us and our individual beliefs, perceptions and experiences.

Now for the fries, well they are the one thing that I know I should not eat but love to eat. When dining out, if the option are fries or salad, I just cannot help myself and have to go for the fries. I need to lose weight, not according to some charts and references. For me I would like to have some different type of body shape. Fries resembles choices and views, vices and decisions, rewards and compromises. I bet you didn't think that fries could be so well rounded and complicated.

So as you sit back and have a laugh with us, spark a crazy thought with us, or just stare at our booty; there is more to "Sex'n'Fries" that meets the eye.

We want to thank all of our visitors, we have had great support. The comments are great and we hope you will come back again and again. Lizzy and Elle

As an aside, I think sex and food have a lot in common...

Food may be perfectly cooked and taste superb, but it is important that the presentation is right as well in order to wet the appetite and helps the diner to savour it before, during and after the meal.

Sex, I reckon, is much the same.

  7. Sex AND fries?

    Two of my favorite things.

Now...if McDonald's would only sell sex, I'd never eat at home.

I'm not sure what that means.
