Smear some honey on it!
Discovered long ago, honey drew us in by our natural desire for sweetness. Still a popular food. The sticky sweet golden liquid is high in calories and is 64 calories per tablespoon.
Despite all the claims that honey is a wonder food, its nutritional value is very limited.
Honey does contain some antioxidants, however, mostly polyphenols, but fruits and vegetables are much better choices. Some new studies are looking into the antimicrobial and wound-healing properties of honey.
You could roll around in some honey, kiss the lips of those who eat it, take a spoon full of honey with lemon to ease a sore throat, what ever you wish to bring some healing and sweetness to your body. Stay sweet and healthy.
