Easy Crazy Yummy Chicken Parm
Chicken parm is yummy!
Can use just a jar of sauce, but that’s boring
Add to that jar of sauce:
1/2 lb ground beef
1/4 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup of any colored peppers
2-3 cloves crushed and chopped garlic
seasoning that you like (oregano, parsley, whatever)
However much of whatever pasta you want
2 chicken breasts (or one per person joining you for dinner)
grated Parmesan cheese
any extra seasonings you want
Mozzarella cheese – or any other block cheese in the fridge
-Brown beef in pot – drain
-Add in garlic and onion – stir medium heat for a minute or so
-Add the rest
-Pour in that jar of sauce, stir, let simmer while you do the rest
**for extra kick add in diced jalepeno peppers and hot sauce
Heat oven to 400F
-Put the chicken between two pieces of parchment paper (I’m in college so i put them in a ziploc bag) and use a meat tenderizer or rubber/wooden mallet (again, in college so used an empty booze bottle) and smack the chicken till it’s 1/4 – 1/2 inch thick.
-Beat the eggs together in one bowl
-In another, mix 1/2 cup bread crumbs with 1/4 Parmesan
-Dip the flattened chicken in their unborn and then into the breadcrumb mixture completely covering the chicken.
-Heat the oil about 1/4 cup in a deep frying pan, when it looks shimmery fry the chicken until both sides are browned.
-Put a layer of sauce on the bottom of a 9 inch (or whatever size you need) baking dish. When the chicken is cooked put them on the sauce layer. Coat the chicken in the rest of the sauce, completely covering them. Slice the cheese you have and put a few pieces over each chicken breast. Sprinkle on some Parmesan.
**Even more kick, put some jalapenos and/or hot sauce under the cheese.
Bake for 15-20 min, serve over whatever pasta you chose
