You have permission to sit still.

How many times have you heard or even said yourself, "I am so busy". ?

How busy are you? We make lists, we try to complete lists, we sometimes ignore lists, because we are so busy.

I can be so busy and feel like I get nothing done.

Wait a minute!

What the heck am I busy doing? When we feel like we are 'busy' are we busy more in the mind compared to the actions of doing something concrete and physically completing the 'list'.

Usually busy means avoiding something that I don't want to deal with. I can be busy doing the dishes, playing with the dog because he won't stop staring at me, paying bills and so on. At the end I feel I did not accomplish anything because it was not on the list.

Make a list but remember there is no one there to check to make sure you do the list.

Give yourself permission to do nothing! Breathe, relax.

I am too busy. What does that mean? The "I" means your thoughts putting pressure on you to get shit done in turn bringing on the stress which "too busy" starts to form.

Try cancelling the TOO BUSY and put in I DON'T FEEL LIKE IT. Not right now because my brain is stressed out and I need a break without judgement (mostly it is you judging you)

Busy is a feeling or state we bring onto ourselves. We need to slow down, be in the moment and stop being too busy. So easy to say but so hard to do. Give yourself permission, you will find that the people that judge you don't exist and the stress comes from within and the pressure you put on yourself.
